Black Forest cosiness

The Hans-Thoma-Stube is panelled in light, antique spruce, and was originally the parlour in a farmhouse dating back to 1776. It was named in memory of the Black Forest painter and sculptor Hans Thoma. As in the Falkenstube, here too a stove provides the necessary warmth in winter - and a delightful ambience all year round.

Baden hospitality in a traditional ambiance

In former times the Falkenstube was a very well known wine tavern in Freiburg. In the early 80s of the last century the furnishings and wood paneling were integrated in the Colombi. The walls, panelled with dark stained oak, and the antique tiled stove give a unique atmosphere to the cosy dining room.

Excellent wines from seven decades

Far below the foyer of the Hotel Colombi, decorative wooden shelves with over 30,000 bottles of 600 different wines dating from 1934 to today await the discerning connoisseur. We will be pleased to arrange a "Diner Oenologique" for you with up to three different suitable wines for each course; please contact us for further details.

For a relaxed end to the day

Our Bar chef Christian Leber and his team provides the hospitality in our elegant piano bar from 6pm in the evening until 3am. Whether you just want to pop in for a drink or apéritif or go on to dine in the Colombi Garden , our elegant club-style bar is the perfect place to wind down by the fire at the end of the day. And from 8pm, our pianist provides musical entertainment.

Elegant coffee-house tradition for gourmets

With its charming southern flair, the Café and Bistro Graf Anton has long been one of Freiburg's favourites. You will find an array of savoury and regional snacks as well as all kinds of sweet things. You can enjoy and delight your palate with delightful pastries, confectionary, cakes and fruit tarts, chocolates and petits fours. Of course, we will also be delighted to provide you with cakes for weddings, birthdays and other special occasions.
