The main changes since the purchase of the Colombi Hotel by
Waltraud and Roland Burtsche in 1978

1978 - 1983
Refurbishment of the entire entrance area. The roofed garden terrace is replaced by the Zirbelstube for gourmets. All guest rooms refurbished.

1984
An extension is built with room for an additional banqueting hall (Salon Innsbruck) and new guest rooms.

1986
Refurbishment of the entire banqueting floor.

1988
Opening of the gourmet bistro Graf Anton (now Cafe Graf Anton). At the same time, the terrace cafe, which was built in 1980, cleared the way for a new area called the 'Wintergarten'  or conservatory that is ideal for a wide range of uses.

1991
The sixth floor is turned into a luxury level with suites and junior suites.

1992
The former bakehouse is converted to incorporate a banqueting kitchen and the new bar. Also opening of the Hans-Thoma-Stube, an original farmhouse parlour dating back to the 18th century.

1993
Creation of a new spa world. In addition to the spacious pool, sauna and solarium, a new beauty farm is opened.

1995
The new building at the Predigertor contains 36 spacious new rooms and suites. Hotel guests now also have an underground garage at their disposal.

1997 - 2008
Over the years, the rooms in the main building and the Residenz were adapted to the changing travel environment and were renewed according to modern standards. Furthermore spacious new suites were created as well as a fitness centre  and a wine cellar, designed in elegant woods, that is also used for wine-tastings.
